What is "reserving the two phases"

<FONT size=3>I don't know what the words in bold means. Could anyone kindly help me? Thanks in advance!<BR><BR>Verify the correct rotation of the  motor. Actuate the forward switch on the motor of the tapping head. The rotation is correct if the head rotates clockwise. If it turns counterclockwise or does not rotate, <STRONG>reserve the two phases</STRONG> <STRONG>at the supply connection, not in the internal electric panel.</STRONG><BR><BR></FONT>
